Today marks exactly 60
years since the death of Ian Lancaster Fleming – journalist, father, ‘the
world’s worst stockbroker’, and of course, creator of the world-famous
secret agent, James Bond.
To mark this date, and celebrate Fleming’s legacy, Ian Fleming
Publications have revealed the covers for their new hardback editions of
all fourteen of Fleming’s original 007 adventures, created by legendary
designer Michael Gillette. |

These prestige hardbacks
will be released on October 17, 2024 and will include not only brand new art (printed directly onto the boards, rather than as
a separate dust jacket) which extends to the rear cover, but custom endpapers, also by Michael Gillette,
featuring a recurring graphic motif inspired by another element of the
story. The books also contain a
range of specially-selected archival material relating to Ian Fleming and his time
writing the 007 adventures.
On September 17, 2024 Ian
Fleming Publications announced a special edition of CASINO ROYALE
featuring gilt-silver sprayed edges. Limited
to 250 copies, the hardback Collector’s Edition [ROLLOVER IMAGE ABOVE] sold out within 48 hours of being
available exclusively via the IFP website. |
