Richard Vernon and Margaret Nolan both memorably appeared with The Beatles in their debut film A Hard Day's Night (1964), released in the UK two months before Goldfinger. Mai Ling played the stewardess Mei-Lei who spies on James Bond whilst he’s on board Goldfinger's Lockheed Jetstar. Mai Ling later appeared [uncredited] as one of Tiger Tanaka's (Tetsuro Tamba) bath house girls in You Only Live Twice (1967), and in Maurice Binder’s credit titles for the film. Polish-born Canadian actor Cec Linder played CIA Agent Felix Leiter. In 1962 Cec Linder appeared in Stanley Kubrick's Lolita, and shared his scenes with Lois Maxwell. Although set in the USA, Lolita was filmed in England and utilised many UK-based American & Canadian performers.
