Q The Music's concert at the Adelphi Theatre - March 17, 2019

Produced by the show’s musical director, Warren Ringham, Q The Music’s concert at the Adelphi Theatre was a fabulously entertaining evening. Performing on a West End stage for the first time most certainly drew the best from all involved; vocalist Kerry Schultz’s rendition of ‘Licence To Kill’ was the most memorable and exciting live performance of the song I’ve heard to date, while Matt Walker’s voice was totally suited to belt out the masculine Bond title songs. Combining these two dynamic vocalists in duets for ‘Live And Let Die’, ‘The Living Daylights’ and ‘You Know My Name’ was an inspired idea that worked exceptionally well. Backed by ballsy brass and svelte string sections, with added florid flute solos, Sunday night’s James Bond Concert Spectacular lived up to its name in every regard.
