SUPPORTING PLAYERS: [L-R] Marc Lawrence as Rodney, an American gangster who attempts to outshoot Scaramanga in his funhouse, and loses. Lawrence had previously appeared as a Slumber Inc. attendant in Diamonds Are Forever (1971). British actress Carmen Sautoy as Saida, a Beirut belly dancer, who wears one of Scaramanga's spent golden bullets as a lucky charm in her navel. Anglo-Indian actor Marne Maitland as Lazar – a Portuguese gunsmith based in Macau who manufactures golden bullets for Scaramanga (Christopher Lee).
BELOW: NEW FACES AT MI6 – In addition to Bernard Lee as M, Desmond Llewelyn as Q, and Lois Maxwell as Miss Moneypenny, who all reprised their respective roles in The Man With The Golden Gun (1974), British actor Michael Goodliffe [left] appeared uncredited as Bill Tanner, M's Chief-of-staff, and James Bond's best friend in the service, Tanner appears in the novels YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE (1964) and THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN (1965). Tanner was then played by James Villiers in For Your Eyes Only (1981), and later Michael Kitchen in GoldenEye (1995), who reprised the role in The World Is Not Enough (1999). Rory Kinnear then played Tanner in Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015) and No Time To Die (2021). James Cossins [centre] played Colthorpe, an MI6 armaments expert who identifies the maker of Scaramanga's golden bullets. Gerald James played Professor Frazier [right] a solar energy scientist assisting MI6 in the hunt for Gibson and the missing Solex Agitator.

A VETERAN CREW: (1) Guy Hamilton [pictured with Britt Ekland] directs his fourth and final James Bond film. (2) Artwork by Peter Murton, returning to the series and promoted to overall Production Designer, after previously serving as Art Director on Goldfinger (1964) and Thunderball (1965). (3) Co-producer Albert R. Broccoli [pictured with Christopher Lee at Pinewood Studios], took overall control of the production of The Man With The Golden Gun (1974), as his relationship with Harry Saltzman began to break down. (4) Co-producer Harry Saltzman [pictured with French marketing entrepreneur and advertising magnate Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet (1906-1996)] at the Paris premiere of The Man With The Golden Gun on December 20, 1974. (5) Director of Photography Oswald Morris [pictured relaxing between takes with Maud Adams on set at Pinewood Studios] took over from regular Bond cinematographer Ted Moore, who became ill after returning from location filming in the Far East. (6) Main title designer Maurice Binder at work on his seventh James Bond film. Binder also devised special teaser trailers and US TV spots for The Man With The Golden Gun.
