HRH The Prince of Wales visits BOND 25 set & 007's new car confirmed as Aston Martin Valhalla

HRH The Prince of Wales visited Pinewood Studios today, where he enjoyed a tour of the BOND 25 sets with producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. Whilst at Pinewood, Prince Charles chatted with James Bond star Daniel Craig (sporting some facial injuries which turned out to be very realistic make-up), and posed for photographers with two of the three Aston Martin cars featuring in the new film - the Aston Martin DB5, and Aston Martin V8 Vantage last seen in The Living Daylights (1987).

Daniel Craig and Prince Charles later share a joke with Ralph Fiennes and BOND 25 director Cary Fukunaga on the set of M’s office at Pinewood Studios.

Miss Moneypenny was also on duty, and the Prince chatted with Naomie Harris in front of a portrait of former M (Judi Dench), who dies at the end of Skyfall (2015).

Prince Charles had also visited the set of The Living Daylights at Pinewood Studios on December 11, 1986 with Princess Diana, who famously hit the headlines when she smashed a sugar-glass bottle over the head of her husband. Their Royal Highnesses later attended the World Charity Premiere of Timothy Dalton's debut film as James Bond held at London's ODEON Leicester Square on June 29, 1987.

Aston Martin have also announced that 007's new car in BOND 25 will be the Valhalla - a revolutionary mid-engine hypercar, the latest in a long line of iconic marques from the British manufacturer, whose association with the James Bond film series dates back to 1964, with the DB5 driven by Sean Connery in Goldfinger.
