Willoughby Gray as Dr. Carl Mortner/Hans Glaub Alison Doody as Jenny Flex and Papillon Soo Soo as Pan Ho Walter Gotell as General Gogol

ABOVE: SUPPORTING PLAYERS: [L-R] British stage and screen actor Willoughby Gray as retired Nazi doctor and Max Zorin's (Christopher Walken) head scientist Dr. Carl Mortner/Hans Glaub. Irish actress and model Alison Doody made her feature film debut as Jenny Flex in A View To A Kill. Doody then starred with future James Bond-to-be Pierce Brosnan in Taffin (1988), and next appeared in her best-known role as Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) opposite Harrison Ford and Sean Connery. English actress Papillon Soo Soo as Pan Ho, and German-born actor Walter Gotell in his recurring role as General Gogol. Gotell had first appeared as SPECTRE agent Morzeny in From Russia With Love (1963), but was cast as Gogol in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) due to his resemblance to the former head of the Soviet secret police Lavrentiy Beria (1899-1953).
BELOW: (left) THE OLD GUARD - A View To A Kill (1985) marked the last time the original MI6 team appeared together on screen; in his final outing as James Bond, Roger Moore (left) was joined by Desmond Llewelyn in his 12th appearance as gadget-master Q, Lois Maxwell made her 14th and final appearance as Miss Moneypenny, Geoffrey Keen as Minister of Defence Frederick Gray in his fifth James Bond film, and Robert Brown playing M for the second time after taking over the role from the late Bernard Lee. Brown had also earlier appeared in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) as Admiral Hargreaves. His portrait appears in the office of M (now played by Ralph Fiennes) in No Time To Die (2021) confirming that his M was a different character to that of Bernard Lee [whose portrait had appeared in The World Is Not Enough (1999)]. Presumably, Admiral Hargreaves was appointed as M following the death of Sir Miles Messervy - the name Ian Fleming gave to James Bond's superior in his novels - and the character played by Bernard Lee in every James Bond film from Dr. No (1962) to Moonraker (1979).
