Many significant James Bond props and costumes are to be auctioned in London by PROPSTORE as part of their Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction from 14-17 November 2024. A four-day live-streamed event will sell iconic film and TV memorabilia including props and costumes from the James Bond films 1962-2021 (and a few non-film related items).

Listed below are some of the more significant James Bond related items, many of which have never been offered in auction before.

DAY 1 - November 14, 2024

Lot #237 - Elektra King's (Sophie Marceau) Death Scene Costume The World Is Not Enough (1999)

Elektra King's (Sophie Marceau) Death Scene Costume The World Is Not Enough (1999)

Elektra King's (Sophie Marceau) death scene costume from The World Is Not Enough (1999). Oil heiress King wore her costume for her final scenes in the film, as she tortured James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) before he escaped and ultimately killed her. This costume was previously exhibited in the Louvre, Paris in March 2002, as part of a Versace exhibition. Versace designed the skirt and Emanuel Ungaro designed the top.

The two-piece costume comprises a lace mesh top decorated with an embroidered floral design made of beads and sequins, and a long dark grey silk skirt. EON Productions originally offered the dress as a charity item to raise money for the National Film and Television School. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from EON.

Estimate: £10,000 - £20,000 SOLD FOR £17,
640

Lot #238 - Sir Robert King's (David Calder) Lapel Pin The World Is Not Enough (1999)

Sir Robert King's (David Calder) Lapel Pin The World Is Not Enough (1999)

Sir Robert King's (David Calder) lapel pin from The World Is Not Enough (1999). Sir Robert wore his lapel pin during his visit to MI6, where the pin triggered the explosion that killed him. When it is later revealed that his pin was switched to a duplicate containing the transmitter that caused the explosion, King's daughter Elektra (Sophie Marceau) presents M (Judi Dench) with the real pin, explaining he would have wanted her to have it.

The pin is made of metal in a Celtic knot design, set with three circular green enamel plaques, two with triangular symbols and one featuring the letter “K”. The box is green with a gold-coloured border detail and interior padding. Dimensions (box): 10cm X 4.5cm X 2cm (4" X 1.75" X 0.75")

Estimate: £3,000 - £6,000 SOLD FOR £3,780

Lot #240 - James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) Passport Die Another Day (2002)

James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) Passport Die Another Day (2002)

James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) passport from Die Another Day (2002). Under the alias Alex Smith, Bond presented his passport on arrival in Cuba, where the trail of a terrorist developing a deadly space weapon had led him.

This paper passport features a dark red plastic cover that accurately replicates a real passport. Inside, it features Bond's photo and personal information for “Alex Smith”. The passport comes complete with a custom built display stand. Dimensions (on display): 22cm X 17.5cm X 17cm (8.75" X 7" X 6.75")

Estimate: £3,000 - £6,000 SOLD FOR £3,780

Zao's (Rick Yune) Hero Bullet Necklace with Faux Diamonds Die Another Day (2002)

Tang Ling Zao's (Rick Yune) hero bullet necklace from Die Another Day (2002). Zao wore a distinctive necklace with a bullet pendant. Bond (Pierce Brosnan) used the diamonds stored inside the pendant to uncover a cache of conflict diamonds belonging to Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens).

The aluminium bullet and its brass shell casing are attached to a metal chain. The top of the bullet unscrews, revealing four faux diamonds inside the casing. Dimensions (pendant): 6.5cm X 1cm X 1cm (2.5" X 0.5" X 0.5")

Estimate: £3,000 - £6,000 SOLD FOR £3,780

Lot #244 - James Bond's (Daniel Craig) Tom Ford Suit Skyfall (2012)

James Bond's (Daniel Craig) Tom Ford Suit Skyfall (2012)

James Bond's (Daniel Craig) Tom Ford suit from Skyfall (2012). Bond wore his suit in the opening action sequence, as he chased the mercenary Patrice (Ola Rapace) through Istanbul, first on a motorbike across roofs and then along a moving train. Skyfall was nominated for five Academy Awards, the most ever for a Bond film. This suit was originally sold by Christie's in their “Sixty Years of James Bond: Part II - Online Auction” in 2022, having been consigned directly by EON Productions Ltd.

Fashion designer and film director Tom Ford designed Bond's suits for the four most recent films in the series, starting with Quantum of Solace (2008), and all of Bond's clothing was custom-made for Skyfall. The grey two-piece rayon-and-silk suit features an embroidered tag in the inside right pocket reading “Daniel Craig Bond 23”. It is accompanied by a white Tom Ford shirt with French cuffs; a Tom Ford silver-grey tie; and a pair of Tom Ford cufflinks. The jacket is labelled size “48F” and the trousers “32”. The suit jacket exhibits some wear and plucking on the front right.

Estimate: £20,000 - £40,000 SOLD FOR £25,200

Lot #245 - Patrice's (Ola Rapace) Screen-matched Hero Hard Drive Skyfall (2012)

Patrice's (Ola Rapace) Screen-matched Hero Hard Drive Skyfall (2012)

Patrice's (Ola Rapace) screen-matched hero hard drive from Skyfall (2012). Patrice and Bond (Daniel Craig) fought over the hard drive atop a moving train in Istanbul, which resulted in Patrice escaping after Eve Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) accidentally shot Bond.

The hard drive is made of yellow plastic and sealed in a clear acrylic case, which does not open. A blemish in the acrylic casing matches the hard drive to close-up shots of Bond trying to wrestle it from Patrice. The case hangs from a cord so that it can be worn around the neck. Also included is an autograph card signed by Ola Rapace. Dimensions: 10.5cm X 7.5cm X 1cm (4.25" X 3" X 0.5")

Estimate: £8,000 - £16,000 SOLD FOR £10,080

Lot #246 - James Bond (Daniel Craig) Stunt Watch and Concept Art Spectre (2015)

James Bond (Daniel Craig) Stunt Watch and Concept Art Spectre (2015)

James Bond's (Daniel Craig) stunt watch and a piece of concept art from Spectre (2015). Bond used his watch as an explosive device to escape from Blofeld's (Christoph Waltz) neurosurgical torture.

The watch is made of plastic, and is a copy of an OMEGA Seamaster 300, complete with a grey-and-black NATO strap. This strap is reminiscent of the one worn by Sean Connery's Bond in Goldfinger (1964) and Thunderball (1965) - though originally it was attached to a Rolex, with OMEGA watches only becoming favoured by the character since Pierce Brosnan took it over in 1995. OMEGA released the watch as a limited edition model, of only 7,007 copies, after the film's release. The face of the watch is warped and shows significant wear from production. Also included in the lot is a watch stand for display purposes and a printed concept artwork that explains the watch's explosive functionality. Dimensions: 23.5cm X 10cm X 10 cm (9.25" X 4" X 4")

Estimate: £10,000 - £20,000

Sir James Bond's (David Niven) Jacket Casino Royale (1967)

Sir James Bond's (David Niven) jacket from Casino Royale (1967). Bond wore his jacket when he visited his daughter Mata Bond (Joanna Pettet) and convinced her to go to East Berlin on a mission for MI6.

The single-breasted jacket was created by tailor Benson, Perry & Whitley. Made in a silk-like woven fabric with silk trim, the jacket features a breast pocket, two waist pockets and four buttons running down the front. Two internal pockets are present, one of which has a label attached. Originally white, the jacket is now yellow, having been dyed for use in subsequent productions. The jacket was tailored for Niven, is labelled “David Niven” and “11/7/66”, and is unsized. The jacket is well-used with tears around the underarms and one of the buttons coming away.

Estimate: £1,000 - £2,000 SOLD FOR £1,260

Lot #1297 - Reference Katana and Scabbard You Only Live Twice (1967)/Highlander (1986)

Reference Katana and Scabbard You Only Live Twice (1967)/Highlander (1986)

A reference katana and scabbard from You Only Live Twice (1967) and Russell Mulcahy's Highlander (1986). This katana originally came from the personal collection of renowned SFX technician Bert Luxford, who purchased it for use on You Only Live Twice. It was ultimately unseen in that film, but later “reunited” with its star, Sean Connery, for the production of Highlander. Ultimately, it was used as a reference for Juan Sanchez-Villalobos Ramirez's main weapon as it was decided his sword and costume needed to be more flamboyant.

This lot consists of a metal sword with an ornate faux-ivory grip and a leather-wrapped wooden scabbard. It exhibits some wear from age and use, most notably areas of scuffing on the scabbard, and the handle has come loose from the blade. Dimensions: (sheathed) 104cm X 8.5cm X 8.5 cm (41" X 3.25" X 3.25")

Estimate: £3,000 - £6,000 SOLD FOR £4,410

A costume design artwork for Solitaire (Jane Seymour) from the production of Live And Let Die (1973). Solitaire was a voodoo psychic medium working under the command of Bond villain Kananga (Yaphet Kotto), also known as Mr. Big.

This original production artwork that depicts Solitaire in one of her many elaborate and elegant dresses is hand-sketched in pencil and then embellished with hand-painted colouring. The style of the dress presented in this piece indicates it was created to speculate on the creative design and aesthetic of Solitaire's red and gold gown that she wore in prominent scenes. Notes adorn the space around the sketch, including a personal message signed by the film's costume designer, Julie Harris. Dimensions: 50cm X 40cm (19.75" X 15.75")
