Several important James Bond props and costumes are to be auctioned in Los Angeles by PROPSTORE as part of their Online Entertainment Memorabilia Auction from 8-23 April 2025. 400 lots of entertainment memorabilia, with items priced for all budgets, whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to add a unique piece to your collection. The auction includes 27 items from the EON Productions James Bond films 1965-2021.

Listed below are some of the more significant and unusual James Bond related items, many of which have never been offered in auction before.

Lot #197 - S.D. Studios James Bond Underwater Breathing Device Replica Thunderball (1965)

An S.D. Studios James Bond (Sean Connery) underwater breathing device replica from Thunderball (1965). Bond used his underwater breathing device, hidden inside a cigar holder, to survive a shark-infested swimming pool at Largo's (Adolfo Celi) estate.

EON Productions licensed this replica, which comes with a plaque identifying it as “130 of 5000” produced. It is made of metal and accompanied by a wooden storage case with a combination lock and “007” branding. Dimensions: (box) 32cm X 23cm X 9.5cm (12.5" X 9" X 3.75").

Lot #198 - Emilio Largo's (Adolfo Celi) Disco Volante Yacht Instruments with Screen-Matched Depth Sounder Thunderball (1965)

Emilio Largo's (Adolfo Celi) Disco Volante yacht instruments from Thunderball (1965). SPECTRE operative Largo's luxury hydrofoil yacht was used in the seizure of two nuclear warheads and later served as the setting for the final fight between Bond (Sean Connery) and Largo.

The lot comprises two marine radiotelephones - Heath Built Models MWW-14 and MWW-13A - and a Heathkit Depth Sounder Model M1-11A. The depth sounder screen-matches through distinctive markings on the front and underside. All three pieces have wear from age and use, including scuffs and scratches. Dimensions: (largest instrument) 40.5cm X 25.5cm X 16cm (16" X 10" X 6.25").

Lot #199 - Little Nellie Grenade Parachute You Only Live Twice (1967)

A Little Nellie grenade parachute from You Only Live Twice (1967). Bond flew the autogyro dubbed “Little Nellie” to find Blofeld's (Donald Pleasence) hidden volcano base and found himself in an aerial battle against Blofeld's henchmen. He used his parachute grenades to take down an enemy helicopter.

Such was their use on the production that it is remarkable that this lot has survived. This parachute is one of only two known to have survived the production, with the other currently on display in the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum. The silk parachute has been inscribed by Little Nellie's stunt pilot, Wing Commander Ken Wallis, with “A grenade parachute from ‘Little Nellie’. Ken Wallis 007!” It has some staining and creasing from production and storage. Unsold from the London 2024 PROPSTORE auction.

Ernst Stavro Blofeld's (Telly Savalas) grenade from On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969). Blofeld threw a grenade at James Bond (George Lazenby) as Bond chased him first down a mountainside and then onto a bobsleigh track.

The dense steel grenade has a weathered and worn appearance. The pin is rusted into place. Dimensions: 5.5cm X 5.5cm X 10cm (2.25" X 2.25" X 4").

A Stromberg henchman costume from The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). Stromberg's henchmen wore their uniforms throughout the film.

The jacket is made from burnt orange cotton canvas with black cotton trim. It has a front zip opening and two diagonal zipped chest pockets, all made of metal. “124B2” is handwritten in black marker inside the jacket's collar. “131B” is handwritten in black marker pen on the waist interior of the matching pair of trousers.

Lot #202 - James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) MI6 Medical File, North Korean Spy Report and US Military File Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Die Another Day (2002)

James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) MI6 medical file, his North Korean spy report and a US military file from the James Bond franchise. In Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), files were used as set dressing around the MI6 offices and control rooms. In The World Is Not Enough (1999), Bond underwent a medical examination to allow him back into the field. In Die Another Day (2002), US military files were seen on CIA chief Damien Falco's (Michael Madsen) desk. The North Korean intelligence services kept tabs on James Bond.

The MI6 medical file includes a toxicology report. The North Korean intelligence report on James Bond contains photographs of the spy. The US military file has been elaborately custom-made and features mission code names and file details printed within. Dimensions: (each) 34cm X 24cm (13.5" X 9.5").

A set of 13 concept art pieces hand-drawn by production designer Allan Cameron for Tomorrow Never Dies (1997). Cameron has credits on several other productions, including The Mummy (1999) and The Da Vinci Code (2006).

This lot comprises 13 original hand-drawn concepts for Elliot Carver's (Jonathan Pryce) stealth boat, the Sea Dolphin II. Each piece is rendered in various media, including pencil and ink, and features an annotation describing the part of the ship it depicts. Five pieces are on A4 paper and card, while the remainder are on A3. Dimensions (A3): 43cm X 30cm (16.5" X 12").

An oversized water Model Unit slate from the production of Tomorrow Never Dies (1997). This slate was used during the filming of the scenes in which the HMS Chester fired a missile at the weapons bazaar at the beginning of the film, and when the HMS Devonshire was sunk by Elliot Carver's (Jonathan Pryce) stealth ship. These were achieved through model miniatures and shot by the Model Unit.

The acrylic slate features the names of unit director John Richardson and miniature photographer Paul Wilson engraved upon it. “Dusk” is handwritten in the box labelled “INT/EXT” and there is adhesive remnants on the back. Dimensions: 35.5cm X 71cm X 0.5cm (14" X 28" X 0.25").

A set of Allan Cameron hand-painted and hand-drawn concept artwork for Elliot Carver's (Jonathan Pryce) stealth ship from the production of Tomorrow Never Dies (1997). These six pieces depict the exterior and interior of the stealth ship named Sea Dolphin II.

Each artwork is rendered in pencil, ink, watercolor, and acrylic paint. A printed image of the ship is adhered to a large sheet of card featuring a hand-painted background depicting the South China Sea.

One sheet has pinholes along the top edge, and the printed image exhibits a slight rip and has begun to peel away in places. Dimensions: (largest artwork) 52cm X 76.5cm (20.5" X 30").

A nuclear waste container from The World Is Not Enough (1999). James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) endeavoured to prevent a nuclear meltdown that was intended to increase petroleum prices.

The container is made of plastic. It exhibits chips in its yellow paintwork. Dimensions: 17cm X 17cm X 39cm (6.75" X 6.75" X 15.25").

An autographed Robbie Coltrane photograph, Elektra King's (Sophie Marceau) cheque, and casino chips from the production of The World Is Not Enough (1999). Casino chips were used at Le Casino L'or Noir, owned by Valentin Zukovsky (Robbie Coltrane), an old enemy of James Bond (Pierce Brosnan). While at the casino, King lost a million dollars in a one-card high-low draw.

The photograph is hand-signed by Coltrane in black marker. The details on King's paper cheque are printed. The casino chips are plastic. This ensemble is presented in a framed display above a gold-coloured metal plaque. Dimensions: 51cm X 41cm X 2cm (20" X 16.25" X 0.75").

A North Korean heavy machine gun from Die Another Day (2002). Colonel Moon's (Will Yun Lee) hovercraft was armed with heavy machine guns as Bond tried to escape the North Korean military base. The gun is modelled on a Browning M2HB heavy machine gun with several modifications. It is made of rubber with a metal armature. A metal bullet cartridge is embedded into the side of the weapon.

The gun has some wear from production use and age, including scuffing and scratches. There is a build-up of grime in some places.

James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) fencing trousers Die Another Day (2002). James Bond's fencing duel with Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) escalated to a full-blown sword fight.

These off-white coloured fencing trousers are made of nylon and cotton. A handwritten “Pierce Brosnan” label is stitched inside the waistband. The trousers feature faux blood stains and a slit underneath the right knee where Bond was cut.

A set of Casino Royale chips from Casino Royale (2006). James Bond (Daniel Craig), Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen) and their fellow poker players used betting chips of various values during the high-stakes game at the Casino Royale in Montenegro.

The set of three circular plastic chips include 25, 100 and 500 dollar denominations, and all feature the “Casino Royale” brand. Dimensions (each chip): 4cm X 4cm X 0.25cm (1.5" X 1.5" X 0.25").

An SFX gun stock and two bullet casings from Casino Royale (2006). In the film's opening scene, James Bond (Daniel Craig) killed Dryden's (Malcolm Sinclair) contact in a bathroom. This gun stock was designed for that scene, for when Bond smashed the contact's gun against a mirror, cracking the glass. Both the stock and the casings are made of metal. Dimensions (gun stock): 5cm X 3cm X 3.75cm (2" X 1.25" X 1.5").

James Bond's (Daniel Craig) burnt guardianship document, death certificate, and last will and testament from Skyfall (2012). Though not seen obviously on screen, each of the documents concern Bond. Included in this lot are an order of guardianship following the death of Bond's parents, Bond's will, and Bond's death certificate. The guardianship order is dated 21/01/1983, and the death certificate is dated “20th October 2012”. The handwriting on all three documents is printed. The guardianship order comes in a manila envelope, and both the envelope and the document exhibit deliberate burn marks. Dimensions: 22cm X 11cm (8.75" X 4.5").

An abandoned city statue maquette from the production of Skyfall (2012). Cyberterrorist Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem) had Severine (Berenice Marlohe) positioned by a toppled dictator statue in the abandoned city square so he and James Bond (Daniel Craig) could compete to shoot a glass of whiskey off her head.

This plaster maquette was made during the production's visualisation process when the statue's appearance was finalised. Dimensions: 28cm X 26cm X 28cm (11" X 10.25" X 11").

An Aston Martin bomb, GALA cocktail menu & crew gift scarf from No Time To Die (2021). James Bond (Daniel Craig) dropped bombs from the back of his Aston Martin whilst fleeing an ambush in Matera perpetrated by SPECTRE operatives. Bond later infiltrates SPECTRE's GALA party in Cuba, where cocktail menus were seen on tables.

The Aston Martin bomb is metal, while the cocktail menu is paper. The crew gift scarf is navy and woollen. Dimensions: (menu) 20cm X 12.25cm (7.75" X 4.75").
