The 2000s
Rye was commissioned by Stoke Park Golf Club, Buckinghamshire in 2000, to theme their exclusive Colt Bar to reflect the James Bond film Goldfinger, which had been partly filmed on the great British course in 1964. Later in 2000, Rye also designed, produced, and sponsored the illustrated colour programme for the first Ian Fleming Foundation James Bond Celebrity Golf Classic & Gala Dinner, held at Stoke Park Golf Club. The JBIFC also sponsored the first hole and were represented at the event by a four-man golf team.

Graham Rye - Christie's 1998

At CHRISTIE'S first James Bond 007 sale in September 1998, Graham Rye entered Oddjob's steel-rimmed square-crown bowler hat from his 007 MAGAZINE Archive in auction, where it fetched the record-breaking sum of £62,000 when purchased by the Bond filmmakers EON Productions.

Graham Rye remains the only person outside the 007 filmmakers EON Productions, and the literary copyright holders Ian Fleming Publications, whose livelihood is exclusively derived from James Bond-related projects.

In his 68th year (2019) the future looks to be as busy as ever for Rye, with no sign of retirement and myriad James Bond-related picture enquiries from the world’s media, together with the production of his deluxe limited edition 007 MAGAZINE publications.
